AI management

Choose which products AI may process, the enrichment depth, and when wallet credits may be used.

What is AI management used for?

With AI management, you decide per data source whether Nifelo may use AI, which products may be processed, and how extensive the enrichment should be. You also configure whether purchased wallet credits may be used automatically when included limits have been reached.

These settings are the same for every type of data source. This guide is therefore maintained centrally under Data sources → General → 2. AI management. A reference under Shopify, for example, opens this same page.

Saving the AI settings does not immediately start categorization or enrichment. The settings determine what Nifelo may do when you run the relevant AI process.

Enable or disable AI usage

The AI usage master switch is shown at the top.

  • Enabled: the other AI settings are available and can be applied during AI processes.
  • Disabled: Nifelo does not use AI enrichment for this data source. The underlying options remain visible but cannot be changed while the master switch is off.

Only enable AI after checking the product selection, enrichment level, and use of credits.

Shop theme

Under Shop theme, specify the general product range, such as Apparel & Accessories, Electronics, or Home & Garden. You can select a suggested theme or enter your own.

The shop theme gives AI additional context. This helps Nifelo assess categories and product information when words have more than one meaning. Choose the theme that best describes most of the product range.

The shop theme does not restrict which products may be imported and does not replace a product category.

Which products do you want to enrich?

Under Which products do you want to enrich?, choose how products are selected for AI enrichment.

Automatically enrich all products

Nifelo may enrich all products that meet the other configured conditions. Use this when the entire product range may be processed in the same way.

Cherry-pick

You select the products to enrich in the product catalog. Use this to test with a selection first or to improve only specific products.

Before running enrichment in Cherry-pick mode, check that the intended products are actually selected in the product catalog.

How deep should AI analyze?

The enrichment level determines the analysis Nifelo performs and the number of credits required per product.

SEO — title and description

This option focuses on improving the product title and description. It shows a cost of 1 credit per product.

Use SEO when the existing product information and images are clear enough and you mainly need better commercial and search-friendly copy.

Full Vision — image scan and product enrichment

Full Vision also uses product images to analyze and enrich the product more extensively. It shows a cost of 5 credits per product.

Use Full Vision when images contain important information that is missing or insufficient in the source data. Because this option uses more credits, start with a small product selection.

Optional: skip inexpensive products

With Skip inexpensive products, set a minimum product price. Only products at or above this amount are then eligible for AI enrichment.

Example: with a minimum price of 50.00, lower-priced products are skipped.

This filter can reserve available credits for products where enrichment is likely to deliver the greatest commercial value. Disable it when price must not be a selection criterion.

Before using it, verify which source price is treated as the product price and whether the currency matches the project.

Use wallet credits automatically

Wallet credits are purchased credits. You decide separately whether Nifelo may use them automatically for categorization and AI enrichment. Both options are disabled by default.

Wallet credits for categorization

When enabled, Nifelo may use wallet credits after the monthly Google Category AI limit has been reached.

Wallet credits for AI enrichment

When enabled, Nifelo may use wallet credits for SEO and Full Vision after the monthly Fair Use credits have run out.

Only enable wallet usage when continuing automatically is more important than deciding manually about additional credit usage. The two switches operate independently.

Save settings

Click Save settings at the bottom. The configuration is stored for this data source.

After saving, check:

  1. Whether AI usage is enabled or disabled as intended.
  2. Whether Automatic or Cherry-pick is selected.
  3. Whether SEO or Full Vision matches the desired result and credit usage.
  4. Whether the minimum price was set intentionally.
  5. Whether wallet credits may be used automatically.

Safe first test

For an initial check, we recommend:

  1. Enable AI usage.
  2. Enter an appropriate shop theme.
  3. Select Cherry-pick.
  4. Select a small number of representative products in the product catalog.
  5. Start with SEO, or use Full Vision only for products that require image analysis.
  6. Keep automatic wallet usage disabled during the first test.
  7. Save the settings and then run the desired AI process.
  8. Review the results and credit usage before expanding the selection.
